THERE'S no getting away from it – we're all bank customers in some shape or form, whether it's for our current account, savings accounts or mortgage.
The banks have a hold over us, and they know it. This is why, despite billions of pounds of our money being used to keep some of them afloat, they are still clobbering us by increasing interest rates for authorised overdrafts, continuing to hit us with unfairly high unauthorised overdraft charges and only reluctantly passing on base rate cuts.

We’re calling on the Government to put your needs first and have written to the Chancellor to voice our concerns and to call for an independent review of UK banking. You can have your two pennies worth about the financial crisis by emailing the Chancellor at www.which.co.uk/ emaildarling
