I ALONG with hundreds of people attended the excellent Remem-brance Sunday Service at the Lifeboat House.
The proceedings were carried out with due respect in memory of all those who lost their lives serving their country.

However, this respect was not matched by the owners of the adjacent amusement arcades who continued to play loud irreverent music throughout the whole service.

Surely the music could be switched off during the service and given the appropriate dignity it deserves.

Furthermore, I am sure it would be appreciated if the harbour clock could show the correct time and not always be an hour ahead.

If these issues could be addressed it would only add to the reverence of this annual event.
