The following cases have been dealt with at Scarborough Magistrates' Court (all
addresses Scarborough unless otherwise stated):

David Appleyard, 42, of New Queen Street: prison for 10 weeks, suspended for 12 months, plus £250 costs for threatening behaviour.

Antony Berry, 35, of Prince of Wales Terrace: fined £320, plus £5
8 costs for threatening behaviour.

Nicholas Birtle, 49, of no fixed abode: conditionally discharged for six months and £43 costs for shoplifting.

Lucy Dimes, 22, of Castle Road: community order for 12 months, with 80 hours community service, plus £25 compensation and £43 costs for racially aggravated assault by beating and racially aggravated threatening behaviour.

Allister Frankland, 48, of Barnby Road, Hunmanby: fined £35, with £43 costs for resisting a police officer.

Leanne Watling, 22, of New Queen Street: community order for 12 months,with 100 hours unpaid work, plus £75 compensation and £43 costs for racially aggravated criminal damage, racially aggravated common assault and racially aggravated threatening behaviour.

Nicholas Barr, 20, of Constable Road, Hunmanby: five penalty points, fined £125, with £60 costs for speeding.

Giles Chalton, 47, of Cropton, Pickering: three penalty points, fined £260 and £60 costs for speeding.

Charles Johnson, 51, of Redwood Gardens, Driffield: six penalty points, fined £100, plus £60 costs for driving without insurance and speeding.

Callum Maguire, 18, of Spring Hall Garth, Malton: six penalty points, fined £50, with £60 costs for driving without insurance.

John Tracey, 55, of North Marine Road: banned from driving for 42 days, fined £350 and £60 costs for speeding.

Andrew Zaforteza, 18, of Station Close, West Ayton: six penalty points, fined £50, plus £60 costs for permitting the use of a motor vehicle without insurance.

Robert Bielby, 19, of South Lane, Thornton Dale: community order for 12 months, with £10 compensation, plus £50 costs for theft.

Tracey Atkinson, 44, of Park Road: conditionally discharged for 12 months, with £43 costs for criminal damage, threatening behaviour, affray, resisting a police officer and threatening behaviour.

Jonathan Cordukes, 24, of Scalby Avenue: three penalty points, fined £45 and £15 costs for using a mobile phone while driving.

Suzy Corrigan, 37, of Waterstead Crescent, Whitby: three penalty points, fined £45, with £15 costs for using a mobile phone while driving.

David Gattis, of The Eastfield Hotel, Manham Hill: fined £150, plus £160 costs for refusing or neglecting to answer any question, furnish any information or produce any document when required to do so.

Jamie Heritage, 23, of Prospect Road: three penalty points, fined £60, with £60 costs for using a vehicle with incorrectly inflated tyre.
