THE ARMED siege in which a six-year-old girl is being held hostage is well into its second day.
A 30-year-old man has barricaded himself and the girl into a house in Herdborough Road, Scarborough.

Armed police officers and negotiators have been at the property since 11pm on Monday.

Officers entered the house yesterday - but the siege continues.
